So, I told my mom that Michael Jackson died at UCLA this afternoon, and after exclaiming in surprise she added, "Well, at least the children are safe now." I almost died. XDD Sometimes she really surprises me.
Apparently Farrah Fawcett died too, so I mentioned that as well. She thinks these things happen in threes, and wondered who the third would be. I hope it's Dick Cheney. >.>

ETA: I just read about the crush of people around the hospital and remembered that my aunt works at UCLA medical center. I bet she's just thrilled about all the people crammed around the place.

Holy crap. o_o
Luts just announced their summer event, and in addition to the usual event head it seems they're releasing seven new Zuzu Delfs, two new Honey Delfs [Choco (boy) and Lolly (girl)], two new Kid Delfs [Lime (boy), and Lemon (girl)], a new line of Junior Delfs with two boys (Rigel and Lepus), a new Delf boy (Edgar), two new Senior Delf boys (Jude and Karis), two new Senior Delf girls (Grace and Harmony), and two new Super Senior Delf boys (Landy and Cirrus).
They weren't kidding when they said they were busy preparing for their summer event! That is a ton of releases. Oo I'm kinda eager to see the new Senior Delfs, and the new Delf boy since there hasn't been one in ages. I also like the event head, and you only have to purchase $250 worth of stuff to get it. Plus there are apparently four different makeup options. Hmmm... I might have to get me one of those. >.>

Today the temperature gauge on my car hit 100 degrees for the first time this year. Whyyyyyyyy? ;__; We've been having such lovely 70 degree weather... can't we just keep that? >.>
*Runs off to hibernate. And sulk.*
After I'm done emo-ing about the weather a bit I'll post some pictures I've been meaning to put up for a while. X3

Huh.
I'm not sure what baffles me more. The fact that someone who doesn't speak English as their first language decided that she wanted to come to the US and teach English to native speaking college students, or the fact that a college actually hired someone who doesn't speak English as a first language to teach native speaking college students. Seems like it would be common sense. Oo
At least I have an A in psychology to (kind of) make up for the fact that my English teacher has no idea what she's freaking talking about. >.>
Anyways, I sold the other doll and he's on layaway. It feels weird to go from six dolls to four, for some reason. (Though I'd ideally only like to get two more and keep the number at six.) Now I have to decide between getting my FCS right away like I planned, getting that awesome Nikkor lens that I really really want, or waiting to see if my mom is finally going to cave and let me get the German Shepherd puppy I've set my heart upon for my birthday. Hmmm, decisions. XDD

...is clearly this:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29017293/?G T1=43001
Watch the video about it for the best parts.
They claim it's not funny, but I'm laughing my ass off. I'm not sure which amuses me more; the zombies or the raptors.

Ughhhhhh, I have a test on biopsychology tomorrow morning. DO NOT WANT. Why the fark do I need to know what synaptic transmission is? IT'S SOMETHING COMPLICATED INVOLVING NEU ROTRANSMITTERS AND I REALLY DON'T CARE A BOUT IT, KAY?! I feel like a robot, reciting this stuff over and over. The hypothalamus filters the blood and monitors hormones, the amygdala controls rage responses and your flight or flight instinct, the hippocampus... *bangs head against wall*
AT LEAST I KNOW WHAT THE NODES OF RANVIER ARE. 8D
And on Friday morning I have a test in sociology, but I really don't want to think about that right now. Because I just looked over the study guide and realized I have no idea what any of it means, and that's never a good thing. >.> Of course, on Monday night I looked at my book and went, "What the fuck is biopsychology?" Maybe I'll be able to force myself to be interested in it long enough to learn something. But really I'm not hopeful.
If you're still reading this and hadn't noticed, I have had waaaaaaaaaaay too much caffiene. :D How else am I supposed to remember what norepinephrine does and what disorders a deficiency of it causes?
Oh god I'm screwed. .___.
Wish me luck tomorrow. XDDD

This is my mom's cat, Fatty.
At least, that is what she used to be called. Now, however, she has done what I never thought possible. She's lost eight pounds. Eight! That's like, a whole other cat right there. She used to weigh twenty, and when I stuck her on the scale yesterday she weighed twelve. I can't believe it. XD
( More About Fatty )

What am I supposed to do with this little creature?
I found her while walking my dog a couple hours ago. She was about to be hit by a car. .___. She had no collar or tags and doesn't seem to be micro chipped. I went to about a half dozen houses, but no one had ever seen her and it was already after nine. You can't tell when she's curled up like that, but she's so skinny her ribs stick out. She's probably been wandering for a couple days.
Tomorrow I'll make some flyers and post them up near where I found her, and call the SPCA to give them her description and where she was found. If she's been out wandering, the SPCA may be her best bet for being reunited with her family. She's a purebred miniature daschund; she's got to belong to someone. =/
I just hope she'll sleep through the night. >.>
For those who haven't already...
Go to Google.
Type "Find Chuck Norris."
Hit "I'm Feeling Lucky."
I love that they have a sense of humor. XD

One day I'll post something that isn't retarded. Really.
Actually, I'm working on getting those pictures of Nick and Gabe together. I'll need some opinions on how they look and stuff.
Until then, here! Look at my dragons! XD
Hatchlings...

Eggs...

Click if you like. They're mostly benefiting from people just opening the page, but clicks help too. XD
And yes...I have no idea how I managed to get four silvers. Quick trigger finger, I guess. Oo

The last two weeks have been complete and utter craziness. So now that I have free time, what do I do with it?
That dragon egg thingy that everyone seems to be doing. XD
I only have one right now, because I'm on my laptop and it is slow. But yes. Click my egg to help make it hatch!

This is my page. It is pretty lame right now.
Hopefully soon I'll get something productive or doll-related done. I still need to take pictures of Gabriel and Nick together. >.>
Oh hay, I gots another one! :3 Er...three!

That's pretty accurate! There weren't many questions to answer either. Hmmm.
Ok, back to writing. I've been stuck on a chapter of OTB (Nick's story, and that's an abbreviation, not the real title XD) since the end of February and feel really bad about not getting anywhere with it. I've discovered that anything disturbing or upsetting in my everyday life will bring my writing to a screeching halt, which is something I'm trying to work though. My last day of work is on Monday, so that will take care of my main stress issue at the moment. And then I'll be moving. Yipee. >.>
$4.48/gallon??
WHY??? *dies*
I was hoping gas prices would go DOWN before I had to fill up again! >.< Arg, I am sick of gasoline. Please to be developing cheaper hydrogen, kthx. And my car gets really good mileage too. I feel bad for my mom; not only does she have to use premium, but her car is a performance vehicle and gets less mileage. Ack.
ANYWAYS. I was walking my dog yesterday afternoon at a soccer field near my house and all of the sudden she started growling and started to take off after something. I yelled "no" automatically because I thought it was a bird or squirrel or something, but didn't turn to look. I continued looking for her ball, which she dropped down a rabbit hole, and she started growling again so I said "What the hell are you looking at? >.<" and turned around.
And there was a coyote. Right. Frigging. Behind us. I was like, holy shi- 0.0 Sydney still wanted to run after it, so I put her back on her leash and watched it to see what it would do. She started barking at it, and it got a bit spooked because she's bigger. It was kind of cool to watch it, but it wasn't cool to turn around and be surprised by it. >.>
Also, I'm moving next week(end). I've got most of my stuff packed (most of my possessions being books XD) but I still have some writing paraphernalia, some stray books, my computers, and the dolls to pack. I hate moving. ._________.
Also also, I was relieved to discover for sure that Lindsay IS a boy's name as well as a girl's. I mean, I knew it was, but I hadn't encountered a male named Lindsay, so I wasn't sure if it was still being used as a guy's name. I'm watching a show right now about a guy named Lindsay Hunt, so that makes me feel better about my (guy) character named Lindsay. Hunt pronounces his name "lind-see" though, and I pronounce my character's "lind-say." IIIIIIInteresting.
Ok, I'm going to stop rambling and go pack some more now. Hopefully I'll be able to snatch some pictures of Nick in his awesome 4D Rosemary shirts soon. <3

I just got a Blackberry Curve from AT&T. It's pretty freaking cool. In fact, I'm posting this with it. It's a little more expensive each month than a normal phone, but I think it'll be worth it. Because surfing the internet on your phone is uber cool. That concludes this completely pointless Blackberry test post. XD
It's three am, and I just got back from late night inventory at the store. Ugh... So. Much. Counting! >.<
I got up at seven to get ready for whale watching, and proceeded to fret the entire time over whether or not I would get to see what I really wanted to. I mean, humpbacks are cool and all, but they really couldn't compare to orcas.

Obviously, I needn't have worried. XD
Very few of my pictures turned out because a) the boat was rocking violently and b) they were moving really fast. They paused a few times to check us out and put on a bit of a show by breaching over and over, but they definitely had somewhere they wanted to go. There were about twenty in all, and they were pretty spread out. They had been in separate groups, so when they came together to move on we were right in the middle of them.
I'm hoping to go again in a few weeks or so with some new equipment to get some better shots. Hopefully we'll find them when they're not traveling...it was pretty hard to keep up with them!
I'm going to go collapse now. XD I'll probably post the few other halfway decent pictures tomorrow. ^^
